Vivian Dietemann Monday

Last Saturday morning I was able to start cleaning the gangway outside my side door at home. It is always a sign of spring when the process is begun. I haven't been to a pow-wow I guess for 16 yrs. I attended one at Washington University in 1992. Vivian Dietemann Ain't Life Grand!?!

Today is my youngest son's birthday and he is out having a birthday celebration with his father, his daughter who will be 2yrs old on the 13th and his new girlfriiend. My son's father left when I was 4 months pregnant with him and re-emerged into his life about one and a half years ago. Yesterday his father had his 52nd birthday and my son is 26 today. Some really funny stories were heard at my work today. One of the first customers I had today was a woman buying carpet and upholstery cleaner and deodorizer. Her family had been to the zoo on Sunday and it seems that one of her youngest children had decided to take along the family pet without her knowledge. Elise Lebeau Another Abundance Token

My husband and I are on a bi-monthly "get away weekend" where we rent a hotel room with a really nice jacuzzi while our son goes to his grand parents. So we get to the hotel after a 4 hour drive and go up to our room...to find out it's not what we reserved! No jacuzzi but way too many beds... daygirl8 Staying Present

I notice that when I look to the future I tend to "pop out" of my abundant thinking. But when I stay right here, right now - everything seems to be working just fine.

  • For example: Right now I have enough (time, money, inspiration) to do what I want. But if I look towards the future it's really easy to start freaking out about how I'm going to be able swing what I want to do then. Which immediately makes me feel lacking and tight, now. (How silly!)

My old job called me yesterday to tell me that they had accidentaly paid me double for this paycheck (that arrives tomorrow)! They asked if they could cancel my direct deposit, I told them heck no, I will issue you a check back. So they said okay. So, I have to give it back, but I am definitely attracting $$! Came in to work today and checked my bank account. Thought my husband got paid overnight and was hoping to see a little extra perhaps in the form of a bonus! The opposite actually. Wow, this Christmas was over the top...for a very surprising reason: Not only did I get ALL the presents I was hoping for, but my husband managed to surprise me with 2 amazingly thoughtful present that I didn't see coming. And to top it all off, it SNOWED ON CHRISTMAS!
