- I got my tax refunds months before I expected it - I got 2 more seperated tax refunds checks in the same week - I got a refund for something I bought but didn't end up using - My husband offered me a weekend at the lake, all expenses paid - I was able to afford everything I wanted last month (wow, I think that's the first time!)

Last Saturday morning I was able to start cleaning the gangway outside my side door at home. It is always a sign of spring when the process is begun. This morning it was still a bit nippy outside when I began the work again. I am hoping to fix the gangway so my grand daughter can go outside to play without being able to get into the back yard. I haven't been to a pow-wow I guess for 16 yrs. I attended one at Washington University in 1992. I was doing an intership in college for the public radio station here in St. Louis and I did several interviews while at the pow-wow. Today I had the pleasure to go back again and enjoy. Today is my youngest son's birthday and he is out having a birthday celebration with his father, his daughter who will be 2yrs old on the 13th and his new girlfriiend. My son's father left when I was 4 months pregnant with him and re-emerged into his life about one and a half years ago. Yesterday his father had his 52nd birthday and my son is 26 today.
